Presale Checklist: Apple iPad

1. Get your iPad charged to at least 50%

2. Remove your Apple ID (iCloud Account) from your iPad by doing the following steps:

1. Click on the "Settings" icon.

2. Ensure your device is hooked up to wifi, if not, connect it now.

3. Click on the Apple ID account at the very top of the settings main page. Scroll down to the bottom and press "Sign Out". If you have Find my iPad turned on it will ask for your Apple ID passcode, enter your passcode. Then hit the button at the top right hand corner of the screen so that your Apple ID info is removed from the iPad.

3. Reset your iPad to Factory Settings by doing the following steps:

1. Click on the "Settings" icon.

2. Click the "General" tab.

3. Scroll down to the bottom and hit the "reset" tab.

4. Click on the "Erase all content and Settings" tab. If you have a restrictions lock it will prompt you to enter your passcode.

5. After a few minutes your iPad will be reset to factory specs and all of your data will be removed from the phone.

4. Your iPad is now ready for resale, don't forget to bring your charging cord and wall block, as well as the box if you still happen to have it.
