Presale Checklist: Apple Computers

1. If you have a MacBook Computer, get the battery charged up to at least 50%.

2. Remove your Apple ID (iCloud Account) from your mac by doing the following steps:

1. Ensure your computer is connected to the internet.

2. Click on the "System Preferences" icon.

3. You'll see a bunch of icons. At the very top it will show the account holders name. To the right of this you'll see an icon that says "Apple ID". Click this.

4. Click on the "Overview" tab.

5. Click "Sign Out" at the bottom.

3. Remove any Encryption Lock that you may have by doing the following steps:

1. Click on the "System Preferences" icon.

2. Click on the "Security and Privacy" icon.

3. Click on the "FileVault" tab. Ensure this is turned off. If so, you're good to go. If not, turn this off, it will then prompt you for your administrator password which you will need to enter in.

4. Full Data Wiping. We will do this for you during your appointment so you can be assured all your personal data is fully removed from your computer.

5. Congratulations! Your computer is all set. Don't forget to bring the charging cable and wall adapter, along with the box if you happen to have it.
